The five categories in the 40th MBA Gala are :
PRIX MBA ACCOMPLISSEMENTS
Until 2019, this was the sole category at the Gala.
This award recognizes and honours a talented and capable MBA whose hard work, dedication and achievements have earned them the respect and admiration of the community.
PRIX MBA HOMMAGE
This award is given to an MBA in recognition of their outstanding merit and exemplary career.
PRIX MBA ASCENSION
This category recognizes an MBA who has made a notable contribution to the Quebec business community and whose career path has recently culminated in the position of President-CEO.
Backed by competence and confidence, this MBA exemplifies the title of President-CEO and stands as an example for others in the business community.
PRIX MBA INSPIRATION
This category pays tribute to a talented and capable MBA in the institutional sector whose hard work and accomplishments have earned them the recognition and admiration of other MBAs.
PRIX MBA UNIVERSITAIRE
This category is a joint initiative with Quebec universities that offer an MBA program.
It honours MBA students or graduates from within the past 5 years who have an outstanding academic record and who have served as ambassadors for their university. Each Quebec university will nominate a candidate, and the winner will be announced at the Gala MBA.
