For many months, the health crisis has been preventing us from carrying out our activities with any kind of normalcy. However, members of the Board of Directors and management were not ready to throw in the towel; instead, they took advantage of the lull to reflect on how the Association des MBA du Québec could remain relevant despite the circumstances. I would like to thank them for their initiative.
Along these lines, we have been busy working on several projects in recent months. Our website got a makeover, resulting in a more user-friendly experience and easier access to the member directory. We forged new relationships and strengthened others, with universities and within Quebec’s economic community. These new partnerships have bolstered the value proposition we offer our members.
The group also decided to take a close look at the mission the AMBAQ has been fulfilling for 46 years—to promote our members and the title of MBA—and re-examine what that mission means in this day and age.
A lot has changed in the business community and in society in general since our founding. In response to these changes and with a view to showing that we are in sync with the times, we formed a committee on diversity and inclusion, and we are proud of it.
Today we are unveiling a new brand image that embodies these changes; an image inspired by leadership, networking and diverse community. We hope that you recognize yourself in this new version of your MBA association.
We look forward to seeing you soon, in person or at one of our online events.
Sincerely,
